Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiographer to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in Albuquerque, NM. As a Radiographer, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, while upholding the highest standards of image quality, patient safety, and compassionate care. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and apply your clinical judgment to obtain accurate and timely images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. You will verify patient identity, review relevant medical history, explain procedures in clear and reassuring terms, and ensure that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process. In keeping with Presbyterian’s culture of respect, integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety, you will follow all infection prevention, radiation protection, and regulatory guidelines, rigorously applying ALARA principles and regularly inspecting equipment for proper function. You will assist in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs, prioritize multiple orders, and communicate critical findings or concerns promptly to radiologists and referring providers. Accurate documentation and use of the electronic health record and PACS are essential, including proper exam labeling, contrast administration documentation where applicable, and adherence to departmental workflow standards. You will contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment by collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and support staff, supporting new team members and students, and participating in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and service quality.
