About
LifeBridge Health is seeking a dedicated PHYSICAL THERAPIST-PRN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our regional healthcare system in Maryland. As a per diem member of our rehabilitative care staff, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based physical therapy services across a continuum of care that may include acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community-based settings. Working within an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate patients with a wide range of diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions designed to restore function, reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote overall health and wellness. In this PRN role, you will conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments, including strength, range of motion, balance, gait, and functional mobility evaluations. You will interpret clinical findings to establish measurable functional goals, provide skilled therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, apply appropriate modalities, and educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care, support safe discharge planning, and ensure continuity and quality of services. You will be responsible for documenting care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record, tracking patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans based on clinical response and best-practice guidelines. You will uphold regulatory and professional standards, follow LifeBridge Health policies and procedures, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes patient safety, dignity, and positive outcomes. As part of our culture of collaboration and innovation, you will participate in case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and opportunities to integrate new research and therapeutic techniques into daily practice. LifeBridge Health’s culture emphasizes teamwork, community engagement, and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. In this position, you will have access to professional development opportunities, including in-service education, mentorship from experienced clinicians, and exposure to diverse patient populations and practice settings. You will support LifeBridge Health’s mission by delivering high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care to individuals from varied backgrounds and communities throughout Maryland. The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist with strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to work a PRN schedule based on departmental needs, which may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a dynamic caseload, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. A commitment to compassionate care, cultural sensitivity, and ongoing learning is essential. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery and functional independence while being part of an organization dedicated to improving health and promoting well-being in the communities we serve.
