Compensation and Other Benefits:
Compensation: $500,000.00 per year base with potential to make $600,000.00+ per year after bonuses

Excellent Imaging Equipment:
MRI: Siemens 3T Vida, 3T Skyra, 3T Verio, 1.5T Aera (2). An additional 1.5T Sola will be installed in January 2025.
Entire fleet of mammography systems (15 units) will be upgraded to Siemens B.Brilliant platform over next 4 years.
Job Responsibilities
Case Mix and Collegial Workflow:
• Case mix of subspecialty as well as general radiology worklist assignments
• General radiology would include covering busy level-one trauma and accredited thrombectomy capable stroke center hospital including MSK/Neuro/Chest/Body imaging including CT/US/Radiographs
• Not Required: Mammography,, IR beyond arthrograms
• Collegial workflow including strongly encouraged and promoted consultations with other Radiologists through in-PACS image sharing and chat functions for difficult and unusual cases
Other Expectations:
• All Roanoke based Radiologists receive academic appointments at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
• Light teaching requirements including medical students and non-Radiology residents
• Participation in tumor boards and practice quality improvement is expected
• Participation in research as a principal investigator is NOT required. There are no requirements for scholarly publications. If there is interest in Radiologist initiated research projects, we have support resources including a dedicated research coordinator to help with IRB, consents, patient enrollment, and image management.
