Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of technologist experience in modality of supervision Other Information: Additional Education Info: Accredited program in imaging, radiology, or diagnostic medical sonographyOne of the following is required: ARRT, ARDMS or RDCS or RVT or RVS or NMTCB or ARMRIT.Only ARRT and NMTCB require a CRT license (Certified Radiologic Technologist)Can be certified as:Radiology- Certified as American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT)MRI- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART) or (ARMRIT)CT- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART)Nuclear Medicine- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or (ARRT)Ultrasound- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or (ARRT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RSCS by ARDMS), or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT by ARDMS)Mammography- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART)Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
