About the Role

As a Sr Associate Product Manager on the Workday Journeys team, you will be a collaborative, engaged product professional working closely with a SCRUM team to represent the customer and champion their needs. You will have the opportunity to build high‑value, impactful features that solve problems our customers face every day.


In this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Engaging with customers to define product requirements, create user stories, and prioritize the backlog
  • Owning and making decisive decisions related to functional requirement scope to deliver on commitments
  • Assisting in the creation of product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Designing and leading feature‑related research initiatives to inform product direction
  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the development process
  • Engaging in production support to ensure a high‑quality customer experience
  • Building products that drive meaningful value for our customers

About You

Basic Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of related work experience

Other Qualifications:



  • Effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and build productive working relationships across teams, including engineering, design, and customer‑facing groups
  • Skilled in research and requirements gathering, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information to identify customer needs, summarize findings, and prioritize business requirements that inform product decisions
  • A self‑starter with a sense of ownership and accountability, motivated to move work forward, remove blockers, and deliver quality outcomes
  • Experience managing or coordinating projects, including organizing tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring delivery timelines are met
  • Comfortable presenting ideas, insights, and product updates to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a willingness to develop domain knowledge in employee experience, HR technology, or related areas
