This is a full‑time, permanent position. Shift work is required, working 07:00–19:00 on a biweekly rotating shift pattern: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage samples throughout the laboratory lifecycle, including internal sample movement, external shipments for analysis, and accurate coordination of sample pulls and aliquoting activities.
- Respond promptly to ad‑hoc requests for sample pulls and sample‑related information, while supporting laboratory analysts to maintain efficient laboratory operations.
- Administer all sample‑related documentation, including receipt and entry of external results onto LIMS, ensuring records are completed accurately, legibly, and on time.
- Maintain reference material inventories, generate environmental monitoring and water analysis reports, and produce agreed quality and business metrics.
- Maintain all documentation, systems, and training records to company and client standards, adhering to health & safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements, and provide PSS team cover when required.
- Work closely with client personnel and suppliers to meet or exceed client requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and demonstrate flexibility to support any area of the business as needed.
Qualifications
- Hold a third‑level qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, providing a strong foundation for laboratory operations.
- Demonstrated GMP experience within a regulated laboratory environment and understand the importance of compliance and data integrity.
- Strong team player, able to work collaboratively across departments to support business and client needs.
- Effective communication skills, engaging confidently and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed to the required quality and regulatory standards.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, maintaining an orderly workspace and effectively prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
