This is a key position within the organisation, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities Manage weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing Oversee sales invoicing and maintain strong credit control procedures Handle accounts payable and receivable functions Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations Produce regular financial reports for senior management Liaise with external accounting practice and support year-end processes Manage office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day running Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries Supervise and support a small administrative/accounts team Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar accounts or office management role Strong working knowledge of payroll, VAT, and general accounting processes Experience liaising with external accountants or auditors Proven ability to manage xcfaprz and develop a small team Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office For full details and to apply in strict confidence, send a current CV to Elizabeth Brannigan FRS Recruitment via link provided.
