The Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design from concept through to completion
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions
  • Support client relationships and project delivery
  • Manage project costs and prepare reports
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, and review technical submissions
  • Produce site and progress reports, ensuring installations meet design intent
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate with design teams for fully integrated solutions
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical design within a consultancy environment
  • Experience leading projects and supporting junior staff
  • Chartered status (or working towards it)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Amtech, and DIALux
