SAP Program Manager

Our client is seeking a senior Product Owner/SAP COE Manager to lead the next phase of their SAP S/4 HANA journey.

This is a transformation role, not a traditional SAP management position. The mandate is to build and lead a best-in‑class SAP Centre of Excellence, moving from a traditional, project‑led model to a modern, product‑led, agile shared services capability.

• Reports to the Head of IT Shared Services
  
• Build and lead a best‑in‑class SAP S/4HANA COE with clear operating model, governance, and standards
  
• Own and drive a business‑aligned roadmap and prioritised backlog, focused on measurable outcomes
  
• Establish strong stakeholder engagement and confidence, positioning SAP as a trusted platform
  
• Create a service the business wants to use, driving adoption and pull‑based demand
  
• Implement modern, agile and multi‑speed delivery, significantly improving speed to value
  
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team, shifting behaviours from traditional to product‑led ways of working

• Proven leader in SAP environments (ideally S/4HANA) in a Product Owner / Product Lead / similar role
  
• Experience building or transforming a COE or shared services function
  
• Strong track record in roadmap ownership, backlog management, and value delivery
  
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption across the business
  
• Experience moving organisations from traditional delivery to agile/product‑led models
  
• Comfortable leading technical teams without needing deep hands‑on SAP expertise
