Specialist non life insurance entity in Ireland is seeking a Chief Actuary to perform a Head of Actuarial Function (HOAF) role as designated by Solvency II. The role will involve working with the management team, especially the CEO.

The business has been expanding over the last couple of years and the management team has worked together (at various firms) for many years.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on senior actuary with reserving experience who enjoys working closely with the ExCo. You will have a wide network of actuaries in other legal entities to work with and share ideas, and in due course the business feels there is a strong case for recruiting some additional support for the Irish entity. xcfaprz
Please note that this is a regulated role and as such you will need to be a Fellow of a major actuarial society, eg UK IFOA, Irish SAI, SOA or CAS Fellow etc.
The company has a 3 days per week office attendance policy.
