Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Water Utilities Division at Mott MacDonald is expanding its work across Ireland and the UK, offering a range of opportunities from feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support, and commissioning. In this capacity, a Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead technical excellence, provide leadership across mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines, and contribute to the design and integration of water projects.

• Manage the MEICA design and integration with other disciplines.

We are looking for a Chartered Mechanical Engineer keen to make a difference, take on wide responsibilities, and progress professionally.

• In‑depth knowledge of water treatment and wastewater treatment equipment, including pumping systems.
• Strong communication skills to interact with other disciplines and clients, and to develop and promote the team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage design delivery and project management.
• Leadership skills capable of managing and motivating individuals to consistently deliver.
• Willingness to contribute to and develop technical knowledge networks.
• Drive to stay abreast of professional development and current and emerging technical solutions.
