Description: The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a Product Applications Engineer to join our Business Development team!This is NOT a Computer Software Engineer positionAnnual Salary: $95,000+ (DOE)Plant/Work Location: 9333 Dielman Industrial Drive, St. Louis, MO 63132Market/Value Stream: Electrical TransformersTraining: 3-6 monthsThe Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, specializes in customized electrical insulation products. We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer - Electrical Transformers to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO.Job SummaryThe Applications Engineer - Electrical Transformers is responsible for developing technical expertise within the Electrical Transformer Market and obtains an understanding of customer applications to assist customers with engineered solutions and to support the development of new products for the market.Job DutiesServe as the subject matter expert for customer applications with an ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders in how our products and services can satisfy customer requirements.Support new product development projects from research, through planning and implementation.Develop marketing content (data sheets, white papers, technical bulletins, advertising materials, technical video, webinar, application engineering profile, etc.) to promote our technical expertise.
