Summary: The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in accelerating Denali's sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving growth by engaging with prospective clients, guiding them through their sustainability goals, and providing innovative recycling solutions. You will manage complex sales opportunities, oversee key client accounts, and deliver tailored solutions that advance sustainability efforts while collaborating on strategic initiatives, and optimize sales processes to align with Denali's long-term vision. The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce expertise and a working understanding of how sales, service, finance, and revenue operations interact to drive sustainable growth. Essential Functions: Lead by Example:
Foster positive relationships with prospects and clients, setting the tone for the sales team through professionalism, proactive engagement, and expertise. Sales Cycle Ownership:
Take responsibility for complex sales opportunities, guiding them from initial engagement to successful closure while ensuring optimal outcomes for both Denali and the customer. Business Development:
Support pipeline growth by monitoring inbound lead flow, outbound activity, and campaign performance to surface insights and keep high-value prospects moving forward. Cross-Department Collaboration & CRM Management:
Partner with sales, marketing, legal, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless proposal development and account management, while maintaining accurate and organized records of all sales activities within the CRM system by tracking leads, opportunities, conversions, quota attainment, and forecasting to support reliable financial reporting and long-term business growth. Strategic Contribution:
Actively participate in strategic planning and forecasting sessions with sales leadership to align business goals and drive growth. AI-Driven Process Improvement:
Continuously identify opportunities to apply AI solutions across the sales cycle from lead scoring and email sequencing to forecasting while reducing manual effort and improving team efficiency. Competency: CRM & Revenue Expertise:
Advanced, hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with demonstrated ability to manage records, build reports, and optimize workflows. Strong familiarity with revenue management principles including pipeline forecasting, quota tracking, and financial reporting with the ability to translate that data into actionable sales strategies that support leadership decision-making and drive business growth. Exceptional Communication:
Excellent phone presence and strong written/verbal communication skills. Able to articulate persuasive, clear messages to diverse audiences. Relationship Building:
Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers across various industries. Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain an organized workflow, and work independently with minimal supervision. Sustainability Knowledge:
General understanding of the recycling and sustainability markets, especially within the food industry (restaurants, food manufacturing, agriculture), is highly preferred. Work Environment: This role involves working in a fast-paced office environment working closely with a highly motivated sales team and leadership. Physical Demands: The position primarily requires sitting, typing, and viewing a computer. Other less frequent physical demands include bending and lifting up to 20 pounds. Travel: Some travel may be expected with this position. Preferred Education and Experience: Education: High School Diploma required (Bachelor's Degree preferred). Additional training or certifications in sales, business, or sustainability is a plus. Certifications: Salesforce Administration Certification is HIGHLY preferred Experience: 5+ years in sales coordination, proposal generation, and B2B customer support. Expertise in recycling and sustainability solutions will be considered a strong asset.
