While you help us advance the mission, we'll help advance your career. $100,000 - $130,000 a year How you will make an impact: Working in a discreet environment handling sensitive information daily Developing, creating and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency Developing software planning documentation, requirements and design documentation, support documentation and test description documentation Performing installation, demonstration, test, validation and evaluation of software tools, methods, and measurement technologies As a Journeyman Web IT SharePoint Software Applications Developer for KM, your day-to-day duties will include: Analyzing and designing databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team Supervising computer programmers Inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data to highlight useful information, suggests conclusions, and supports decision making Conducting software validation and verification, and software engineering anomaly resolution Performing tasks in accordance with applicable DOD guidance and industry standards Performing computer network exploitation development Evaluating the quality of software systems and solutions Performing needs and risk analysis of software packages relative to mission requirements Developing, updating, and evaluating software engineering standards, specifications, handbooks, or manuals for the development and testing of cyber capabilities Documenting verification and validation of solutions and protocols and providing technical assistance to user organizations on software acquisition Developing life cycle models and customizing software analytical tools, models, decision aids, screening methods, and techniques used to evaluate and support the authenticity and continuity of DOD, national, commercial, and international information systems Developing specialized software/firmware modules Disassembling and analyzing software and embedded firmware Collaborating with the Cyber Innovation Unit Your qualifications must be: Possess an Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence polygraph Minimum five (5) years of experience in application software development Minimum of bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or an additional five years of experience) Active CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification) Experience with front-end web technologies and frameworks: HTML5, JSON, CSS, JavaScript Cloud Design and Development 2+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2010, 2013, 2016, or 2019) Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence) Experience with ServiceNow Experience with business process automation
