Sr Hardware Engineer

Our client, a leading

technology company, is seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Avionics Product Development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Hardware Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $50-$55/hour

What’s the Job?

Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products

Plan and execute Design Verification testing on Avionics products

Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance

Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance

Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment

Lead obsolete-component replacement investigations

What’s Needed?

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

4+ years of experience in Hardware/Product Engineering

Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification

Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.)

Experience with complex digital circuit design and debugging
