Mechanical Design Engineer

• Producing 3D models & 2D fabrication drawings for customised machine orders.
  
• Producing detailed specifications and designs based on customer requirements, including hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic elements.
  
• Liaising with production during fabrication and assembly of customised machines. A hands‑on approach is expected.
  
• Producing bills of materials for designs, ensuring all required components and elements are completed on time and to the correct specification.
  
• Liaising with sales personnel and customers to ensure correct setup and use of finished machines, providing documentation where required.
  
• Archiving all design details for future reference and after‑sales support.
  

• 
  
• Experience in the agricultural machinery industry.
  
• Diploma/Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• Experience working with MS Excel and SolidWorks.
  
• Experience working with agricultural machinery.
  

This is a full‑time role, 39 hours per week. xcfaprz Remuneration is €36,605 to €42,000 per annum, based on experience.
