Fullstack Software Engineer

Location - Hybrid in either Dublin or Cork.

Stelfox is partnering with a Fintech / SaaS Risk Analytics platform provider who are looking to add a number of Fullstack software engineers to their Quantitative / Financial engineering team.

This is a great opportunity for any software engineers that want to combine the worlds of Quantitative / financial modeling with fullstack application development.

• 
  
• Implementing software models and applications to perform quantitative analysis of finance transactions
  
• Implementing infrastructure connecting quantitative models up to a live web-based analytics platform.
  
• Follow best practices of software development including automated testing, documentation, high coding standards, code‑reviews, etc.
  
• Work closely with other senior quant engineers as well as senior software engineers, allowing you to further develop your expertise in modern software development combined with your Quant modeling and engineering skills.
  

• 
  
• Degree / Masters or PhD in Computational finance, Mathematics, Quantitative finance, Computer science, Physics or equivalent is preferred.
  
• Strong mathematical and analytical capability
  
• Experience working on complex software applications incorporating data modeling & analytics.
  
• Ideally 3-5 years professional programming experience
  

• 
  
• Building software for analysis of financial products: modeling financial instruments, cashflows, pricing, risk metrics, bond math, OAS and other fixed income analysis.
  
• Experience building and optimizing Monte Carlo simulations
  
• Experience with Python, in particular with libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy and statsmodels.
  
• Experience with data visualization.
  
• Exposure to cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP etc).
