We are currently partnering with a leading international insurance provider to appoint an Outsourced Activities Controller to join their Dublin-based team.

This is a key role within the second line of defence, responsible for overseeing outsourced partners and ensuring activities are delivered in line with regulatory, contractual, and internal standards.

The Role

You will play a central role in monitoring and assessing outsourced activities across a range of business areas, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and testing outsourced activities across areas such as sales, underwriting, claims, complaints, AML, data protection, and IT/security
  • Assessing partner performance through data analysis and scorecards
  • Delivering consolidated reporting on control outcomes and key risks
  • Conducting onsite and remote reviews of third‑party partners
  • Identifying control gaps and supporting remediation efforts
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Risk and Compliance teams
  • Supporting process improvements and contributing to ongoing projects
  • Assisting with training and knowledge sharing initiatives
Your Background
  • 3–5 years’ experience within insurance, financial services, audit, or a related environment
  • Experience in controls, xcfaprz audit, or oversight of outsourced activities is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and outsourcing risk frameworks
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel / MS Office capability
  • Additional language skills (French) would be an advantage.
