We are currently partnering with a leading international insurance provider to appoint an Outsourced Activities Controller to join their Dublin-based team.

This is a key role within the second line of defence, responsible for overseeing outsourced partners and ensuring activities are delivered in line with regulatory, contractual, and internal standards.
The RoleYou will play a central role in monitoring and assessing outsourced activities across a range of business areas, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and testing outsourced activities across areas such as sales, underwriting, claims, complaints, AML, data protection, and IT/security
- Assessing partner performance through data analysis and scorecards
- Delivering consolidated reporting on control outcomes and key risks
- Conducting onsite and remote reviews of third‑party partners
- Identifying control gaps and supporting remediation efforts
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Risk and Compliance teams
- Supporting process improvements and contributing to ongoing projects
- Assisting with training and knowledge sharing initiatives
- 3–5 years’ experience within insurance, financial services, audit, or a related environment
- Experience in controls, xcfaprz audit, or oversight of outsourced activities is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and outsourcing risk frameworks
- Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel / MS Office capability
- Additional language skills (French) would be an advantage.
