Integrations Specialist

As an HL7 Integration Specialist, you’ll act as the bridge between clinical users and technology, designing and delivering robust integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across complex healthcare ecosystems.

We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate - someone who can both deliver hands-on and guide others.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, test, and support HL7, FHIR, API, and file-based integrations across EHR, ERP, cloud, and third-party systems
• Act as a trusted advisor on integration strategy, architecture, and interoperability standards
• Lead and support Epic EMR implementations, including interfaces, upgrades, and post go-live optimisation
• Translate complex business and clinical requirements into clear technical solutions
• Take ownership of complex integration issues, acting as the key escalation point
• Develop and maintain standards, processes, and documentation to support scalable delivery
• Operate as a player-coach, balancing hands-on delivery with mentoring and supporting team members
• Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and technical teams to drive innovation and improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience with HL7 (v2, FHIR, CDA), APIs, and healthcare data exchange
• Hands-on experience with integration engines (e.g. InterSystems, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Mirth, BizTalk, Corepoint, Qvera, IBM Integration Bus)
• Experience working with Epic or other clinical EHR systems
• Solid understanding of integration design, testing, and deployment practices
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members xcfaprz
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
• Epic Bridges certification
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies (MSSQL, Oracle)
• Familiarity with integration architecture tools (e.g. Visio)
