The Occupational Therapy Manager will report directly to the Managing Director, working closely with clinical and operational teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy services across our nationwide assessment network, with additional assessment centres opening soon.
The Occupational Therapy Manager will provide clinical oversight, support and mentor staff, champion evidence-based practice, and guide the strategic development of Occupational Therapy services within Constellation Healthcare. This leadership role combines advanced clinical expertise, governance, and service development to ensure the consistent delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Governance & Quality- Ensure compliance with professional standards, CORU regulations, and organisational policies.
- Lead clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and outcomes measurement.
- Oversee safe, evidence-based, high-quality clinical practice across all service settings.
- Support risk management and incident review processes.
- Model and promote Constellation Family Principles through everyday practice.
- Foster a culture of learning, accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure organisational compliance with the Children First Act 2015 and safeguarding policies.
- Lead training, monitoring, and reporting processes related to safeguarding.
- Lead ongoing development and improvement of OT services across the organisation.
- Identify service gaps and introduce innovative, client-centred solutions.
- Support integration of Occupational Therapy within multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning for therapy services.
- Provide professional and operational leadership to Occupational Therapists.
- Deliver clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance.
- Manage team performance, support CPD, and oversee appraisals.
- Lead delivery of KPIs and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Allocate caseloads to ensure efficient and equitable service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with CORU professional standards.
- Support reflective practice, professional growth, and clinical competency development.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing within the wider clinical team.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across Constellation Healthcare.
- Participate in case discussions, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the CORU Occupational Therapists Registration Board.
- Recognised degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, including time at senior or leadership level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and support clinical staff.
- Strong clinical reasoning, advanced OT skills, and experience with complex cases.
- Proven capability in service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience in community, home-based, or multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning or service expansion.
