Orthopedics Physician

Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital joined Mon Health in October 2017. Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is a 70-bed general medical and surgical hospital. With the support of the flagship hospital in Morgantown and its dedicated team, this physician will provide care to communities in Lewis, Gilmer, Braxton and Upshur counties

This is a great opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing quality patient care to wonderful communities while thriving in a beautiful state! There is an array of outdoor activities year round including hiking, biking, white water rafting, snow/water skiing, hunting, fishing, and golfing, among others.
The physician provides primary care in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Will follow and direct evidenced based practices as established within the Orthopedic and Surgery service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.

Education:

1. Completed approved Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) residency program in orthopedics resulting in board eligibility and certification .
2. Licensed as a physician to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia .
3. Hold valid DEA certificate without restrictions.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
5. Must be computer literate , able to type, and able to utilize different electronic health record software programs.
