Required Qualifications

About the Job A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for everyone. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’ll be comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing technical trade‑offs with engineers.
The Cloud Learning Services Team (CLS) works with companies, government agencies, and academic institutions to help millions of individuals develop and grow their technology skills with Google Cloud, leveraging AI to power educational technology and reach over 40 million learners.
In this role you will lead execution efforts for projects or programs that span multiple organizations and product areas, drive new product and feature development, negotiate scope and timelines, and apply domain expertise to improve products, services, or systems.
Responsibilities
Communicate a project goal and strategy that informs team goals.
Create portfolio tracking mechanics to enable informed decision‑making, clear prioritization, and efficient risk management across the portfolio.
Provide program and project management, cross‑functional coordination across large, complex stakeholder and customer groups to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
Create and communicate a consistent overall view of the program (objectives, priorities, delivery timelines, resourcing, status, longer‑term goals, outcomes, issues, etc.), identifying gaps and driving alignment where needed.
Ensure key program metrics are defined, lead cross‑functional teams, and drive action to meet program success against those metrics.
Compensation The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $192,000–$278,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
