The successful candidate will take ownership of Group reporting and consolidation, ensuring high-quality, timely financial information while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear and relevant insights. The role also offers strong involvement in driving improvements across systems, processes, and controls, alongside ensuring the business remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory and IFRS requirements.
In addition to core reporting responsibilities, there is a significant strategic element — supporting acquisition activity, leading on acquisition accounting, and helping to integrate new businesses into the Group. This opportunity would suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA, ideally Big 4 trained) with strong technical expertise in IFRS and Group reporting, and experience operating in a plc or complex multi-entity environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders are all key.
