We have a sensational opportunity for an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our private practice setting to work closely with our doctor to provide the ultimate care to our family of patients. We offer a supportive staff for daily success with incentives to reward our staff for their continuous efforts. We’re looking for a positive, friendly hygienist with excellent communication skills to fill this long term opportunity.
*Responsibilities*:
-Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophy, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments and sealants
-Identify periodontal health
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
-Perform diagnostic quality digital x-rays and intra-oral photos
-Directly communicate with doctor of clinical findings
-Thoroughly review and document patient medical histories and chief complaints
-Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
-Obtain and document vital signs
-Maintain proper sterilization of instruments
-Ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA guidelines
*Qualifications: *
-Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
-CPR Certification
-Local Anesthesia license a plus but not required
-Excellent interpersonal skills for patient communication and education
