About

Responsible for leading electrical design and development of electro-mechanical medical devices across the full product lifecycle. The role supports projects from early-stage technology development through to commercialization within a cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design electronic assemblies and printed circuit board assemblies to support electro-mechanical product development and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineering to support project timelines and budgets
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards including UL, IEC, and FDA throughout the design process
  • Conduct design and testing activities for EMI compliance, electrical safety, and manufacturability
  • Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of system or component issues and document findings
  • Develop design specifications, test protocols, and validation reports
  • Participate in technical design reviews to ensure design integrity and safety requirements are achieved

Requirements

  • Level 8 degree in Engineering (BSc in Electronics) or equivalent experience xcfaprz
  • Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electronics including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Experience in medical device product development is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with EMC testing and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with requirement documentation and structured engineering processes
