Responsible for leading electrical design and development of electro-mechanical medical devices across the full product lifecycle. The role supports projects from early-stage technology development through to commercialization within a cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities
- Design electronic assemblies and printed circuit board assemblies to support electro-mechanical product development and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineering to support project timelines and budgets
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards including UL, IEC, and FDA throughout the design process
- Conduct design and testing activities for EMI compliance, electrical safety, and manufacturability
- Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of system or component issues and document findings
- Develop design specifications, test protocols, and validation reports
- Participate in technical design reviews to ensure design integrity and safety requirements are achieved
Requirements
- Level 8 degree in Engineering (BSc in Electronics) or equivalent experience xcfaprz
- Minimum of 4 yearsβ industry experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electronics including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience in medical device product development is highly desirable
- Familiarity with EMC testing and regulatory requirements
- Experience with requirement documentation and structured engineering processes
