Key Responsibilities & Duties
Lead and manage pre-construction activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements
Coordinate feasibility studies, technical assessments, and design reviews
Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to develop robust project strategies
Prepare and review tender documentation, cost estimates, and project schedulesIdentify risks and opportunities at early project stages and implement mitigation strategies
Support bid submissions and contribute to securing new project opportunities
Oversee value engineering processes to optimise cost, quality, and programme outcomes
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and project teams
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth project progression
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline)
8 years plus experience
Proven experience in a pre-construction, design, or project engineering role
Strong background in energy, data centre, or industrial projects is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent xcfaprz technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong commercial awareness and experience with cost estimation and tendering
Effective communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Willingness to travel to sites when required
