About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and engaging Endoscopy Support Specialist to help ensure our customers’ critical medical equipment is always available when needed.
As a key ambassador for Olympus, you will play a key role in improving how end users care for and handle a wide range of medical devices, particularly endoscopes and endoscopic decontamination equipment.
This may include addressing issues such as avoidable endoscope damage, supporting teams following repairs, delivering training for new starters, or ensuring correct cleaning and handling procedures are understood and followed.
By providing expert guidance and practical support, you will play a vital role in helping healthcare providers maintain equipment availability — ultimately ensuring that essential and potentially lifesaving medical procedures can continue without disruption.
Key responsibilitiesThree key areas:
Account ManagementRegularly visit all customers on your territory, build relationships based on trust and rapport and provide ongoing customer support.
Data AnalysisAnalyse repair trends to provide bespoke support aimed at reducing repairs.
Training and EducationDelivering exciting and engaging training sessions to groups of 2 to 50 (groups of 4 to 10 is the norm) using various methods such as group activities, hands on sessions, games, formal presentations and quizzes
You will be part of the Endoscopy Support team within the wider Medical Service Business Unit (MSBU). This collaborative environment includes working with:
- Field Service Coordinators
- Service Contract Sales Territory Managers
Together, you will form a highly motivated, field-based team focused on delivering exceptional service and support to healthcare providers.
What We’re Looking For- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence delivering training to groups
- Ability to build relationships and influence behaviour
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or training roles (desirable but not essential)
- Valid driving licence
- Professional attitude with an eagerness to learn
- Experience with MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Be comfortable working within a theatre/procedure/decontamination environment
