Cybersecurity Senior Engineer

Role Summary We are seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer to support business initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams and ensuring secure, compliant solutions across the organization. This role is responsible for integrating security and privacy requirements into system architecture, identifying risks, and guiding projects from concept through implementation and validation.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to embed security and privacy into solutions
Review system architectures and identify security gaps; recommend improvements
Define and implement security controls aligned with business and compliance needs
Participate across all project phases (requirements, design, implementation, validation)
Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks
Support incident, vulnerability, change, and configuration management
Lead risk-based decision-making and security trade-off discussions
Document security requirements, risks, and exceptions
Influence product selection and vendor security requirements
Monitor emerging threats and improve security frameworks
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Information Security
Experience in designing and implementing security controls
Strong knowledge of Network Security, Application Security, Data Protection, IAM, and Security Operations
Understanding of incident, change, vulnerability, and configuration managementStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications
Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of NIST or CIS frameworks
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Background in telecom or large enterprise environments
Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments
