This Litigation team specialising in
banking and financial services disputes , secured debt enforcement, and possession proceedings is in a period of growth. You will work closely with Partners and Senior Associates, gaining hands‑on experience across Circuit Court and High Court litigation.
This role offers excellent exposure, structured training, and genuine responsibility from the outset, making it an excellent platform for career development within commercial litigation.
An outline of some of the work that you will be involved with includes:
Managing a caseload of banking litigation and loan enforcement matters under supervision.
Acting on possession proceedings in the Circuit Court and, where appropriate, the High Court.
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, including Civil Bills, summonses, Notices of Motion, and affidavits.
Preparing consent orders, settlement documentation, and enforcement applications.
Briefing counsel and preparing cases for hearing, including court booklets and chronologies.
Liaising with clients, court offices, process servers, and external stakeholders.
Advising lender and loan servicer clients on case progression, risks, and strategy.
Supporting compliance and regulatory requirements on lending files.
Contributing to internal precedents and process improvements.
The Person
A strong fit looks like:
NQ–5 years’ PQE
with litigation experience.
Exposure to banking litigation, debt recovery, or financial services disputes.
Strong drafting and case management skills.
Evidence of organisational ability and attention to detail.
Confidence managing deadlines across a high volume caseload.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, professional, and commercially minded approach.
Experience in Circuit Court possession proceedings.
Familiarity with secured lending and enforcement processes.
Experience briefing counsel and preparing hearing materials. xcfaprz
