TechHeads is excited to bring you a new opportunity for a Principal Engineer to join a fast-growing product company based in Ireland to help shape next generation AI‑enabled platforms. This role will allow you to combine technical leadership with hands‑on development in a modern cloud environment.
You’ll work be an involved in designing robust, scalable systems and mentoring developers in a growing team. This position offers real influence over architecture, tooling, and best practices, with the opportunity to work on meaningful AI‑powered solutions used at scale.
In this role, you will use Node.JS based services, modern frontend frameworks, and AWS cloud infrastructure, while working with emerging AI and data technologies. Allowing you to work with cutting edge technology as you apply your expertise to guide scalable projects.

Requirements
- 2+ years in a leadership based role
- 8+ years’ experience in software development with strong Node expertise
- Experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding principles
- Based in Ireland with an EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa
