RN Acute Care Denver Float Pool

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Denver Float Pool within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a variety of adult acute care units, supporting hospitals and teams throughout the Denver area. As a Float Pool RN, you will be a vital member of an innovative, nonprofit health care system that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement. You will care for patients with a wide range of medical and post‑surgical needs, performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and support staff. You will administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitor telemetry and clinical status; respond to changes in condition; and coordinate safe admissions, transfers, and discharges. Because you will work in multiple units, you must be comfortable adapting quickly to new environments, workflows, and patient populations, while consistently upholding UCHealth standards of safety, quality, and service. You will educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans, and you will actively contribute to quality initiatives and evidence‑based practice.
