About
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our integrated, non-profit healthcare system. As an RN at Piedmont, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care across our network of hospitals, primary and specialty practices, urgent care centers, and emergency departments, depending on assignment. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with diverse and sometimes complex medical conditions. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality, and coordinated care. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments according to provider orders and organizational policies, monitoring patient responses, documenting accurately in the electronic health record, and educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care. You will advocate for patient needs, escalate changes in condition promptly, and support a safe environment through adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards. As part of Piedmont’s culture of respect, innovation, and teamwork, you will actively participate in unit-based initiatives, shared governance, quality improvement projects, and evidence-based practice activities aimed at improving clinical outcomes and patient experience. You will mentor and support nursing colleagues, assist with the orientation of new team members, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Piedmont Healthcare is committed to your professional development, offering ongoing training, tuition support opportunities, and access to continuing education so you can grow your skills and advance your nursing career. This RN role is well-suited for nurses who are adaptable, skilled at critical thinking, comfortable with technology, and passionate about delivering compassionate, holistic care. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and time-management skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, changing environment. By joining Piedmont Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients, families, and the communities we serve across Georgia while building a rewarding long-term career in nursing.
