Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data analysis tools to support the global Hill’s packaging organization.
Design and build dashboards and control systems for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Create and maintain project management tools to improve efficiency and workflow within the packaging team.
Identify opportunities for process simplification and develop solutions to achieve these efficiencies.
Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in packaging operations.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all developed tools and dashboards.
Develop metrics and data governance for packaging master data.
Model cost and sustainability trade‑offs, including lifecycle assessment inputs.
Monitor quality and compliance: defect trends, customer/retailer compliance; lead improvement meetings to address opportunities.
Provide training and support to end‑users on newly developed tools and systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for process improvement.
Automate routine tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer goods or pharmaceutical company.
Proven experience in data analysis, tool development, and dashboard creation.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Google suite, BI Tools).
Preferred Qualifications:
Programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with packaging processes and supply chain operations.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $98,000.00 – $120,000.00 USD
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions (subject to eligibility), at least 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours), 13 paid holidays, and prorated paid sick leave per local laws.
