The Role The
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
will drive lead generation and qualify prospects for our senior sales team. Responsibilities include:
Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and social media to initiate conversations with direct and partner prospects.
Follow up promptly on inbound leads and inquiries.
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and hand them over to the sales team.
Educate prospects on the value of Traild's products and build relationships.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on lead‑generation strategies.
Schedule meetings, demos, and product calls for the sales team.
Exceed monthly quotas for qualified appointments and demos.
Maintain up‑to‑date information in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on lead‑generation activities and outcomes.
Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours during onboarding, including "call jacking" sessions.
Qualifications
2+ years of sales experience in an SDR/BDR capacity.
2+ years in B2B SaaS sales (experience with ERP, fintech, or AP is a bonus).
Proficiency in cold‑calling, prospecting, and building human connections.
Thrives in a fast‑paced startup or scale‑up environment.
Track record of exceeding KPIs and targets.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
Coachable, growth‑oriented, and adaptable.
Strong collaborator with a growth mindset.

Base Salary Range
U.S. candidates: USD $60,000‑$70,000 per year (base pay)
Canadian candidates: CAD $60,000‑$70,000 per year (base pay)
Compensation is determined based on experience, education, and geographic location. The final offer may vary within the stated range to reflect the candidate’s qualifications and market conditions. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance‑based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
