Dietary Consultant

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a mission-driven Dietary Consultant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and support comprehensive care for underserved communities. In this role, you will provide expert nutrition guidance and medical nutrition therapy to patients across the lifespan, helping to improve health outcomes through individualized dietary plans and practical, culturally sensitive education. You will conduct thorough nutritional assessments, design and implement personalized care plans, and offer ongoing counseling for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. Working closely with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other members of an interdisciplinary care team, you will integrate nutrition into holistic treatment plans and help patients adopt sustainable lifestyle changes. The Dietary Consultant will also contribute to group classes, workshops, and outreach events that promote wellness, prevention, and healthy eating habits in the community. You will document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record, track patient progress, and adapt interventions based on evidence-based guidelines and patient response.
