About

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a CT Tech for night shift to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will perform computerized tomography (CT) procedures on patients of varying ages and conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services. Working collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members, you will obtain diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and comfort for every patient. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for CT scans, operating CT equipment and associated imaging systems, reviewing and verifying orders and patient histories, and adjusting technical factors to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure. You will perform contrast administration per protocol, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and follow all safety and infection control standards. The CT Tech will be expected to prioritize and manage a steady volume of studies during nights, coordinate STAT and emergent cases, and communicate clearly with providers to facilitate timely diagnosis and treatment. You will assist with quality control and equipment checks, document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record, and support ongoing performance improvement and accreditation efforts. Piedmont Healthcare fosters a culture of respect, innovation, and teamwork, so you will participate in continuing education, cross-training, and professional development offered by the organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented imaging professional who is comfortable working independently on nights, demonstrates strong critical-thinking skills, and is committed to compassionate, inclusive care for diverse patient populations.
