Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathology Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality, individualized speech and language services to children and youth in school, clinic, and community-based settings. You will play a key part in helping students and clients improve their communication skills, increase independence, and access meaningful learning and life opportunities. As a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant at Point Quest Group, you will implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs, focusing on articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, and functional communication skills. You will conduct structured therapeutic activities, support the use of visual supports and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, and help prepare materials that are tailored to each clientβs unique needs and goals. You will be responsible for accurate and timely collection of data during sessions, maintaining organized and compliant documentation, and communicating observations to the supervising SLP to inform ongoing treatment decisions. Working closely with teachers, related service providers, and caregivers, you will help support the generalization of communication skills across school, home, and community environments. You will also assist in implementing behavior and engagement strategies to maximize participation and progress during sessions.
