RN Acute Care Denver Float Pool

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care Denver Float Pool at UCHealth, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a variety of inpatient units within our Colorado‑based, nonprofit health system. Working within a leading Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will support multiple hospitals and units, including medical‑surgical, telemetry, and specialty acute care areas, depending on patient volume and organizational needs. In this dynamic role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and IV therapies, and closely monitor changes in patient status, using sound clinical judgment to intervene rapidly when needed. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate safe, effective, and efficient care that aligns with UCHealth’s standards of excellence. As a member of the Denver Float Pool, you will be expected to adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and team structures, demonstrating strong critical thinking, communication, and time‑management skills while supporting a diverse patient population with complex medical and surgical needs.
