About

As a Radiographer with LifeBridge Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across our Healthcare & Medical Services department. Working within a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you will perform a full range of radiologic examinations using digital and fluoroscopic equipment in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and radiation safety standards. You will prepare and position patients of all ages for imaging procedures, verify patient identification, obtain relevant clinical history, and ensure images are of diagnostic quality for accurate interpretation by radiologists.
In this role, you will follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure, maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, and adhere strictly to infection prevention and safety guidelines. You will document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record, manage PACS image transfer and quality, and communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to support timely diagnosis and treatment. You will provide compassionate care, explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and adapting techniques for patients with limited mobility, acute illness, or special needs.
Radiographers at LifeBridge Health are expected to stay current with advances in imaging technology, participate in ongoing education and competency assessments, and support quality improvement and performance initiatives within the department. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in a fast-paced hospital and outpatient environment, contribute to a culture of respect and teamwork, and help train or precept students or new staff as needed. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally, cross-train in additional imaging modalities where applicable, and be part of an innovative organization dedicated to improving health and promoting well-being in the diverse communities we serve.
