We anticipate our Network Engineer’s time being split between: Provisioning new cloud customer networking. Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting internal and customer network infrastructure for stability and performance. Directly supporting Stellar customers’ networking needs via support tickets. Partnering with other engineers on network-related escalations, customer projects, new office deployments, and infrastructure implementations. Maintaining and improving internal and customer documentation. ARE YOU QUALIFIED? Certifications only go so far, and while we like to see them, they’re not a requirement. For this position, we're looking for someone who fits the following: Abilities Experience working directly with customers in person or over the phone. In other words, you're used to talking to people you may or may not know and take pride in lending a helping hand. Experience as a member of a technical team and is prepared to mentor and cross train. Experience with ticket/case management systems to track work and time for clients and is comfortable owning a ticket from start to finish with minimal oversight. Extensive experience using documentation systems, takes pride in creating documentation that peers can follow. Can work with team members across multiple geographic locations and time zones to ensure thorough completion of tasks. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills. Technical Experience Minimum of 3 years operational experience with at least one of the following: Juniper MX / SRX / EX platforms Arista switch platforms Cisco Catalyst / Nexus / ASR platforms Minimum of 3 years operational experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls. Extensive operational experience with routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF. Extensive operational experience with networking protocols and standards including EVPN, VXLAN, VRRP, LACP, VLANs. Extensive operational experience with IPsec VPN tunnel provisioning across multiple platforms. Operational experience with configuration and troubleshooting of cloud and hypervisor networking. Operational experience with networking protocols and standards including L3VPN, MPLS. Operational experience with NetBox for data center inventory and resource management. Operational experience with VMware vSphere / vCenter basics. Operational experience with VMware NSX-T. Experience with layer 1 troubleshooting, including fiber cross connects. Experience with deployment and operation of Palo Alto Networks Panorama for centralized firewall management in a multitenant environment. Preferred Certifications: Juniper JNCIS-SP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT, or higher. Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA, JNCIA-JUNOS Preferred Certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE). BENEFITS We care about our people, remember? Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. REQUIREMENTS Work Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm Mountain Standard Time (Arizona). Flexible and subject to change. Work Location: Hybrid, 3 day in-office per week (Downtown Phoenix), 2 days remote. Travel: Approximately 4-8 weeks per year, not including company events. On-call rotation for network-specific escalations.
