About

We're a 110-person crop protection company. We develop and sell formulations that help farmers protect their crops - backed by solid science, sold at fair prices. ~70 people work out of our Dublin office; our CTO runs a smaller team in Cambridge focused on skunkworks projects.
If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.
What you’ll build:
We’re hiring a software engineer to build internal systems.
Right now, important parts of the business run on spreadsheets, SharePoint, disconnected databases, and large numbers of documents. That includes formulation portfolio tracking, regulatory workflows, commercial tooling, and reporting.
Some things people in this role might work on:
Systems for tracking formulations from R&D through commercialization
Regulatory tooling built around documents, workflows, and market‑specific requirements
Pipelines for market data, regulatory updates, and internal reporting
Commercial tools used by teams day to day
Document migrations, data cleanup, and system consolidation
Part of the job is cleanup. Part of the job is rebuilding. Both matter.
Our stack is mostly Next.js, React, Bun, and Postgres.
We build for expert internal users, which means the bar is not just functionality. The tools need to be fast, legible, and trustworthy enough to become part of how people work.
We’re interested in people who can:
Build and ship software
Work across the stack
Deal well with ambiguity
Design sensible systems and data models
Write clearly
Exercise good judgment
Useful background includes internal tools, workflow software, migrations, document-heavy systems, and side projects.
We care less about years of experience than we do about slope and evidence of good work. xcfaprz
This role is not a fit if you want heavy process, narrow tickets, or low ownership.
