The Role
Sitting within the second line of defence, you will oversee and test outsourced activities across a network of European partners, ensuring alignment with regulatory, contractual and internal standards.
You will work across a wide range of areas including distribution, claims, complaints, AML, data protection and IT/security, while engaging directly with both internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and testing outsourced partner activities across core operational processes
Analysing performance data and producing consolidated oversight reports
Conducting on-site and remote controls across partner locations in Europe
Leading control reviews end-to-end (planning, execution, reporting and follow-up)
Assessing remediation actions and ongoing control effectiveness
Supporting risk integration and broader oversight frameworks
Identifying process gaps and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting training and project work where required
About You
3–5 years’ experience in insurance, audit, risk or compliance
Strong understanding of outsourcing risk and control frameworks
Experience in on-site controls, audit or testing environments is advantageous
Degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related discipline
Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with a structured, organised approach xcfaprz
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners
Additional European language is an advantage
Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
