Senior Analytics Engineer, Tech Lead , you will design high‑quality data models, pipelines, and architecture that will feed into datasets used in LLM models, BI analytics, Business KPIs, and other data related products. This role centers on data modeling and creating data structures using
Snowflake, DBT, Airflow , and
Hackolade .
In Minneapolis, MN, you will work in a hybrid model, on‑site at least two days per week.
What are we building? Datasite supports high‑value transactions across more than 170 countries. We want to build scalable data infrastructure that empowers AI and analytics across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable, accurate data models for internal BI analytics, AI agents, high‑value data products, and data science research.
Develop and optimize data pipelines that support the creation of production‑quality data sets.
Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation by implementing validation processes and maintaining clear domain expertise.
Develop and maintain an enterprise semantic layer that ensures consistency in metrics, relationships, and metadata across all data products.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to define analytical needs, align metric definitions, and support data‑driven prioritization and planning.
Mentor and support junior analytics contributors, helping elevate modeling standards, BI best practices, and analytical methodology.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or related fields.
Familiarity with Snowflake, Cortex including functions, analyst, and semantic.
Expert SQL skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
Comfortable with Python.
Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Strong experience using DBT for transformation modeling.
Knowledge of common data modeling practices and ability to leverage tools like Hackolade.
Proven ability to translate business questions into structured analytical solutions.
Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with API‑based or event‑driven data flows (not required).
Background in product analytics or experimentation.
Exposure to distributed data systems or cloud‑native analytics architectures.
Prior mentorship or peer‑development experience.
Proficiency with Sigma BI or comparable BI tools.
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
The base salary range for this position is $99,000.00 – $172,700.00. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits.
