This is with a global leader in the experiential design space, working on some of the most innovative and impactful projects today. A highly design-driven studio is looking to bring on a Design Manager to join their New York team. This group operates at the intersection of architecture and interiors, delivering thoughtful, concept-led work across hospitality and experiential environments. Their projects are design-focused, detail-oriented, and push beyond the typical in terms of creativity and execution. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be driving projects from early concept through delivery, managing teams, and interfacing directly with clients, while still staying close to the design itself. They’re looking for someone who can think critically about design, guide teams, and ensure projects move seamlessly from idea to built work.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from concept through completion across interiors-focused.
Manage and mentor design teams while remaining hands-on.
Drive client presentations and overall project narrative.
Oversee drawing sets, FF&E, and coordination across disciplines.
Balance strong design thinking with delivery, timelines, and budgets.
Profile
6–10+ years of experience in architecture/interior design.
Background in hospitality or other design-driven project types.
Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams.
Strong technical foundation (Revit/AutoCAD + Adobe Creative Suite).
Hybrid setup, strong pipeline of work, and a team that values both design quality and execution. If this aligns, happy to connect.
