Workshop Manager
to lead a busy, high-volume vehicle workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of workshop operations, drive team performance, and deliver exceptional service standards.
The Role
You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the workshop, ensuring all servicing and repair work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in maximising productivity, maintaining compliance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and allocate work based on technician skillsets, priority, and availability
Monitor workflow and ensure jobs are completed within agreed timelines
Maintain close collaboration with service and parts teams to avoid delays
Ensure all work meets manufacturer and quality standards before handover
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and apprentices
Provide technical guidance and support on complex diagnostics
Support service advisors with customer updates and technical queries
Monitor workshop KPIs, productivity, and efficiency
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
About You
Qualified HGV/LGV Technician with strong automotive background
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar leadership role
Experience xcfaprz in a dealership, fleet, or commercial vehicle environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
Full clean Category B driving licence
Currently based in Ireland with full EU working rights
Valid work permit required (living in Ireland)
