The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying product and service demand, developing pricing strategies, and building strong customer relationships within a designated territory. This role involves presenting products, managing customer accounts, and monitoring market trends to support business growth. The Sales Representative works closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Success in this position requires a proactive approach and strong communication skills.
·Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and availability
·Recommend products based on customer needs and interests
·Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders
·Perform follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction
·Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
·Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
·Build and maintain strong customer relationships
·Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to customer needs
·Collaborate with design to provide product samples
·Identify prospective customers using various outreach methods
·Arrange and direct product deliveries
·Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity
·Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, maintaining records, and filing expense reports
·Obtain credit information for prospective customers
·Knowledge of selling principles and customer service practices
·Understanding of the paper industry, design, and departmental capabilities
·Awareness of industry trends and changing market conditions
·Skilled in marketing and sales presentations
·Experience conducting meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts
