Radiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• 1-2 weeks a month
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, including a lunch break
• 2 locations

Clinical Details:

• Support Staff: Radiology Physician Assistants for IR procedures, Reading Room Assistants, Nighthawk service for after-hours
• Team-based environment
• EMR: GE Universal PACs, PowerScribe 360 for voice recognition
• Daily Expectations: 20-30% IR (5-6 procedures per day), 70-80% General Diagnostic 50-60 diagnostic reads (5-10 CT, the rest is x-ray, ultrasound, and general readings)
• Proficiency required in procedures: Bone biopsy, neph tube exchange, liver biopsies, angiogram

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Licensing candidates will be considered
• Vaccination requirements
• Proficiency in light IR procedures; complex procedures covered by IR docs
• General Radiologists capable of light IR will be considered
• Job requires minimal availability: 1-2 weeks a month
