About

Role : AWS DevOps Engineer Location : Jersey City, NJ (On‑site / Hybrid) Workable on W2 Domain: Banking / Financial Role Summary: We are looking for an Infrastructure‑focused Engineering SME / Technical Lead to help design, build, and support modern, cloud‑based infrastructure and automation solutions that underpin business‑critical, real‑time platforms. This role partners closely with Product, SRE, DevOps, and Operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure services across a hybrid environment (on‑prem and cloud). You will work extensively with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code while contributing to telecom‑adjacent platforms supporting contact center and voice workloads. Experience with VoIP technologies is a strong plus but not required. Engineers with a strong infrastructure, automation, and cloud platform background are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications Experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles. Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services, including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Experience running Kubernetes in production environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, load balancing). Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and Git‑based version control. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
