Position: Nursery Room Leader
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £36,000 per annum

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This full-time role requires working 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Please note, this is a year-round position, as our nursery operates throughout the year.

As a Room Leader, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
- Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
- Assist staff in maintaining high-quality records on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
- Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments.
- Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
- Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What You Need to SucceedTo thrive in this role, you will need:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
