Job Description
Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) play an essential role in the healthcare system by providing primary care to patients of all ages. They work in various settings and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care possible. Job Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to patients
- Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
- Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
- Communicating test results to patients and their families
- Recording patient medical histories
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Current RN License, FNP certificate, and furnishing number.
2. Current CPR certification, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
3. Current DEA license.
4. One (1) year of experience PREFERED
5. Excellent communication and writing skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
7. Ability to work well under pressure analyze and evaluate individual memberβs needs, reach sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.
8. Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task effectively.
9. Demonstrate experience in the delivery of primary care.
10. Must be sensitive to the diverse patient population.
11. Demonstrate clear knowledge of Georgetown Medical ASSOCIATES structure, standards, procedures, and protocols
